This has been a busy year for me I have taken two cross country trips covering 28 states and in which I took over 5,000 photos and a weeks camping trip into North Georgia and the Appalachian mountains.

Over the years I have taken a lot of photosbut untio this year I was more concerned about capturing the moment then how it would look in a frame. I decided after taking the spring cross country tour with only a cheap digital camera that I would purchase a good unit. I had been eyeing the Nikon line of cameras and finally ended up with a D5000, which is an incredible unit that I used on the camping and Fall cross country tour.

I have learned much this summer since I started shooting with the D5000 but I still consider myself an Amateur. If you would like to leave some feedback on the Flickr site I would appreciate any honest, constructive critisism. Thsnks!
